G.T. charters from a 19-foot Silver King flats skiff powered by a 2002-140 H.P. 4 stroke Suzuki. Accommodates 1-3 people for redfish, snook, trout, grouper, cobia and tarpon. Likes to go for tarpon in May and June. Specialties are light tackle in back country shallow water. Gary will also trailer his boat south to other areas for snook and other species. Uses a bow mount trolling motor for stealth approach. His 24-foot Carolina Skiff will accommodate 4 anglers and is equipped with trolling motor, deck chairs, fishing platform and a large Bimini top for hot weather fishing.

Wayne is a native and guides from a 23 ft. Mako powered by a 225 H.P. Mercury Opti-Max. Wayne also has an 18 ft. Monarc for shallow water fishing. Besides fishing the Homosassa area for redfish, trout or grouper, Wayne has a camp near the mouth of the Suwannee River and guides charters from there. He also is a great cook!

Native guide of the Homosassa River and Gulf Coast with 24 years experience on the water. Charlie trailers his boat and follows the fish up and down the coast. A former commercial fisherman, he knows the shallow waters very well. Charlie fishes from a 22-foot Sun Dancer powered with a 90 H.P. Yamaha. For stealth approaches he uses a bow mount trolling motor or a push pole. The boat is totally open to accommodate up to 4 people. Spring, Summer, and Fall months he specializes in shallow water flats fishing for both trout and redfish. Winter months he goes for reds, trout, black drum and sheepshead as they seek warmer water in the Homosassa River and surrounding creeks. The latest addition is a 17 1/2 ft. Key West Stealth flats skiff with a 125 H.P. outboard motor. The skiff is complete with twin stern mount trolling motors and a push pole to stalk Homosassa tarpon during the months of May and June. Sight fishing tailing redfish or big schools of migrating redfish while being poled along in gin clear waters is a frequent function of Harris.

Capt. Billy Henderson is living his dream: to be a guide. For the last few years he has built his business to a full-time occupation from mostly word-of-mouth. Henderson has been featured on the TV series, "Addictive Fishing" and "Hooked on Fishing."
Henderson does it all--from real deep in the back country for big reds and gator trout in his custom, hand-built, 20' long and 8' wide skiff that he and his uncle built (and believe me, you've never run skinny...yet)--to fully guided waterfowl and spring turkey hunts, and everything in between. Captain Ed Lewis is a 4th generation Floridian, fishing the Gulf waters for over 30 years. A fifth generation FL native with more than 20 years experience. Mike's specialties are fly fishing and light tackle spin fishing for redfish, grouper, tarpon, cobia, mackerel and trout. Fly fishing for tarpon in Homosassa a specialty in late April/May/June; then Carrabelle in July. Redfish and trout year round. Mike's newest addition to the fleet is a 2002 Hells Bay 18' Marquesas, which is the lightest and quietest skiff on the market today. Many extra shots at cruising tarpon are attained from this remarkable, excellently-crafted Cadillac of the flats. Mike's 2001 18 foot Pro-Line flats skiff will accommodate 2 anglers comfortably for shallow water grouper or redfish. For parties of 3-4 anglers, a 23 ft. custom Tremblay skiff is provided. All boats are equipped with poling platforms, push poles and trolling motors for quiet approaches.

Third generation guide of Homosassa for 13 years, specializing in light tackle and fly fishing. Species include tarpon, grouper, snook, redfish ,cobia, trout and many other species. His 185 flats Bay Craft with 125 H.P. Mercury will accommodate 1 or 2 anglers comfortably. A custom rigged 24-foot Pro-Line open fisherman will accommodate up to 4 anglers. Jim charters in Boca Grande for tarpon each summer and advance reservations are recommended. Capt. Ted grouper guides from a spacious 28-foot Offshore Cuddy powered by twin 225 Suzukis. He works hard and usually brings in nice catches of grouper. The boat is always equipped with bottom rigs, trolling rigs, or electric reels for those who need them. Both fresh and live bait are provided each day. For trout, redfish, or tarpon, Capt. O'Quinn uses an 18-foot Stealth flats boat equipped with a 125 HP Mariner and two trolling motors for tarpon.

Capt. John Rogers was raised was on the Homosassa River. His dad took him fishing with him every chance he got. John specializes in off shore grouper fishing both trolling and bottom fishing. The neat thing about his grouper trips are that he does not have to go out 30 miles to catch big fish. John has many shallow water grouper rocks marked on his GPS. The 24 foot T-Craft is powered by a 200 H.P. Yamaha. John also takes charters for trout and redfish and accommodates up to 4 anglers.
